Amy Wilson, MSN, CCRN, NP-C
Amy Wilson serves as a Nurse Practitioner at Vascular Neurology of Southern California. She began her medical career in 2011 as an Emergency Department Medical Scribe while continuing her education becoming a Registered Nurse in a Critical Care Unit in 2014 and obtaining Critical Care Board Certification in 2018. She graduated with her Master Degree of Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University with high honors and obtained Board Certification from American Association of Nurse Practitioners in 2019. Amy began her nursing career in a critical care unit at a level two trauma and certified stroke center. During her years there she was appointed Preceptor, Charge Nurse, and Rapid Response Team Nurse. Amy received extensive training in identifying and treating neurological decline in an acute care setting when she served as a Rapid Response Nurse. Her vast knowledge and experience will assist in evaluating and caring for VNSC’s patients.
